Random mental volleyball

The thought just ran through my mind re: is America ready to support a woman president?

To my military mind, I really believe we are; however, I would add one caveat, that I am not so sure we are ready for a Hillary Clinton presidency!

I could definitely support a woman president, as long as it isn't one of my ex-wives.

And as for a "black" man in the presidential slot, I could definitely get behind, Thomas Sowell, Robert Bork, or Clarence Thomas; but B Hussein O? nah, don't think so, ain't gonna happen. Perhaps he and his wife can take their mega fortune, go buy an island somewhere, and just disappear, yeah, they can take Biden with them.

Tis the season

Well, the first games of the new football season, and both the Steelers and the Packers had wins.

I am looking forward to a great season, anticipating more great football from the two teams.

Uh, yeah, I was a fan of both teams back in the 60s and 70s, you can't get a whole lot more smash mouth than these two; and they are both, outdoor stadium, cold weather teams. Yassir ubetcha!

Boy, oh boy!

I am really not in the category of recipes as Katherine at Smoky Mountain Cafe but I thot I would include my favorite breakfast sammich.

Start out with a slice of English Muffin Toasting Bread, toast it to your liking, then slather butter on it; I prefer mine to be crisp.

After buttering the toast place a slice of Pepper Jack cheese on the toast.

While you are toasting the bread, place a slice of ham in a frying pan, and heat to your preference; I like mine starting to brown.

Remove ham slice from frying pan and place on top of cheese on toast. Then add a slice of American cheese on top of the ham.

Now, fry an egg; I prefer mine to be fried hard, but not too hard. Place the egg on top of the American cheese and viola!

I didn't mention seasoning, cuz, everybody has their own predilection for seasoning, however, I liberally sprinkle either black pepper or Emeril's Essence on the egg while it is frying.

A good hot cup of coffee and you got a guarantold good eaten sammich!
